A mobile prototype for a community kitchen.
Community Table Kitchen is a social enterprise owned and operated by Bridge House, a Boulder, CO nonprofit. Their mission is to transition the homeless by providing case management, housing and paid employment through Community Table Kitchen. They offer a full catering service along with daily take and bake meals.
The ordering method is outdated and inefficient. I created a high fidelity mobile application prototype that allows the user to order meal types and quantities for specific days and times of the week.

I started by creating a user flow to demonstrate how the user would go about arriving at the order page, all the way through receiving a “day of” reminder to pick up their food. A scan to order option allows for users to scan QR codes, like the ones in my CTK rebranding case study, to be taken directly to the “order now” page or an apple store download for those who do not have the app.

I then translated my flow map into more detailed mobile pages, ultimately adding interactive features that allow for a realistic ordering experience. The pages start with an ordering page where the user can scroll through the menu and add meals to their cart. Upon pressing the cart icon they will be taken to the cart page where they can find a final total cost of transaction, as well as double check their order. After pressing the payment button the user then proceeds to the payment page where they can select a time of pickup that suits their schedule and choose their payment method. Finally, after placing the order a confirmation page appears informing the customer the order has gone through.
